Riviera locate at new city center of Zhuhai city where is west part of Zhuhai, Doumen district. Originally Doumen is famous district for hightech industries. The district is very close to Zhuhai international airport and major seaport. 

Because east part of Zhuhai, Xiangzhou, is almost fully packed due to rapid growth of the city. Zhuhai city government expect 2.4 million popuration in 2020 which is 1 million more than now. 

Government is going to install many transportation infrastructure into Doumen. Some of them are already in operation. High speed train, light rail system and high way will connect Doumen to east district as well as Hong Kong and Macau.
